After the success of “Lust Stories” in 2018, Ronnie Screwvala, Ashi Dua Sara, and Netflix recently released its sequel, “Lust Stories 2,” which was directed by Konkona Sen Sharma, R. Balki, Sujoy Ghosh, and Amit Ravindernath Sharma. The four short films featured an ensemble cast including Angad Bedi, Mrunal Thakur, Neena Gupta, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kajol, Kumud Mishra, Tillotama Shome, and Amruta Subhash.
According to Pinkvilla, there are exciting updates about the much-loved franchise. Encouraged by the positive response to “Lust Stories 2,” the makers have begun initial discussions for “Lust Stories 3.”

A source close to the production revealed, “After receiving a good response for ‘Lust Stories 2,’ makers Ronnie Screwvala, Ashi Dua Sara, and Netflix are motivated to continue the franchise and are planning to start work on the third installment soon. While the initial discussions have begun, it is not yet certain if the same four directors from part 2 will return for the third part or if new directors will be brought on board. The third part is definitely in the works, and the scripting, casting, and other pre-production formalities will commence once all the directors are confirmed.”
